Business Partner Code of Conduct
1 – “Our Values and Standards” for Business Relationships
Botdoc is committed to sustainability in all business activities and aims to apply and abide by the highest ethical, social and environmental standards. We recognize that our business partners play an important role in our overall success. Accordingly, Botdoc strives to conduct business with individuals and organizations who share our commitment to high ethical standards and who operate in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. To reinforce the standards to which we are committed, Botdoc developed this Business Partner Code of Conduct.
2 – Expectations/Honest and Accurate Dealings
At Botdoc, our values and standards have always formed the basis of our success. We believe that society and business are best served by responsible business behaviors and practices. Fundamental to this belief is the understanding that a business must, at a minimum, operate in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. We remain mindful of differences in culture and the challenges associated with interpreting and applying these principles globally and believe that what is expected is universal. We understand that the methods for meeting these expectations may vary in order to be consistent with the laws, values and cultural expectations of the different societies in the world.
We believe in developing mutually beneficial relationships with our business partners, founded on trust and respect.
We conduct business with integrity; we comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the countries in which we operate.
We seek to have a positive impact on the lives of our employees, their families and the communities in which we operate.
Botdoc expects its business partners to be fair, honest and ethical in all activities and relationships involving or affecting Botdoc.
We expect companies in our business partner network to do the same.
3 – Protection of Information
Botdoc expects its business partners to maintain, protect and keep confidential all Botdoc company information, including personal information collected for or from Botdoc, and act to prevent its loss, misuse, theft, fraud, improper access, disclosure or alteration; including unauthorized communication and/or publication of information acquired from or on behalf of Botdoc. Any concerns about Botdoc’s information should be brought to Botdoc’s attention.
4 – Conflicts of Interest
Botdoc expects its business partners to avoid and report actual or potential conflicts between their personal interests and the interests of Botdoc. Botdoc team members are not permitted to give or receive anything of value which could be perceived to be a conflict of interest or to influence a business decision.
5 – Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
Business Partners must not engage in any conduct that would violate anti-bribery or anti- corruption laws. In addition to compliance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, Business Partners:
- Shall not provide bribes or kickbacks to public officials;
- Shall not provide bribes or kickbacks to anyone in the private sector;
- If requested, will certify, on an annual basis, compliance with anti-bribery and anti- corruption laws
- Shall maintain detailed financial books and records in accordance with applicable anti- bribery and anti-corruption laws
6 – Fraud Prevention
Botdoc expects its business partners to notify Botdoc of any suspected or actual fraud related to Botdoc business. Any concerns regarding fraud or financial irregularities should be brought to Botdoc’s attention at [email protected]
7 – Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Botdoc expects its business partners to conduct business in full compliance with any and all applicable laws and regulations.
8 – Contracts
Botdoc expects all of its business partners to comply with the terms of its contracts with Botdoc.
This Code of Conduct applies to all business partners engaged by Botdoc. Botdoc reserves the right to amend this Code of Conduct at any time without notice.
