Planned Maintenance
(API LIVE/PRODUCTION)
Dear Valued Developer,
On Sunday Apr 6, 2025 at 2:00am MST there will be a scheduled service update to Botdoc API Production. We anticipate this planned update will take approximately 1 hr to perform.
Service updates to Botdoc’s API Developers platform, which include:
- New Feature – Microblink ID. The BlinkID feature will perform document scans (passport or IDs) and extract data via OCR methods.
- 700 Credit integrations: Updated terms and services and added ability to define your own customer language when creating a 700 Credit feature
- Improved iFrame Feature capabilities. iFrame is now capable of retaining data that may or may not be result of the iFrame complete.
- Added ability to provide initial data from a Secure Session to an iFrame feature, allowing data to flow both ways.
- Added ability to forcefully complete an individual Feature inside a Container
- Added routine to clean old webhooks. Only webhooks newer than 240 days will be retained
Affected Product/Service: API Production Interface ONLY (Sandbox had this version as of Mar 30, 2025)
Expected Behavior:
Service updates/maintenance are normal deployments that won’t cause any impact on production or development tools. They happen with no impact to the functionality of the platform or customer applications. However, although this is very rare, if for any reason there is an interruption of the functionality of deployment workflows and tools, it will be resolved within our expected maintenance window.
Why we’re doing this:
Botdoc is expanding NEW features to our developers. These new updates and features expand capabilities providing more advancements to our developers regarding secure transport of data between two points.
