Planned Maintenance
(API LIVE/PRODUCTION)
Dear Valued Developer,
We wanted to let you know that tomorrow’s scheduled production deployment has been postponed. The new deployment date is next Sunday Nov 30th at 2:00am MST. This adjustment gives our team and our customers the needed time to ensure a smooth and stable release.
Service updates to Botdoc’s API Developers platform, which include:
-
ID Scan Passport/Passport Card support – ID scan now allows for the scanning and collection of data for passports and passport cards.
-
Short URL generation improvements
-
Callback data listing and retrieval improvements – Enhances how callback data is organized and accessed, making it faster and easier to retrieve detailed transaction information.
-
Webhook data retention update (240 → 120 days) – Webhook data will now be stored for 120 days instead of 240, aligning with new data management policies and optimizing storage efficiency.
-
New webhook for HEIC image conversion (P2 Pull) – A new webhook now triggers when iPhone-format (HEIC) images are automatically converted to JPEG. End users won’t see any difference, it simply improves compatibility and transparency.
Affected Product/Service: API Production Interface ONLY (Sandbox had this version as of Nov 14, 2025)
Expected Behavior:
Service updates/maintenance are normal deployments that won’t cause any impact on production or development tools. They happen with no impact to the functionality of the platform or customer applications. However, although this is very rare, if for any reason there is an interruption of the functionality of deployment workflows and tools, it will be resolved within our expected maintenance window.
Why we’re doing this:
Botdoc is expanding NEW features to our developers. These new updates and features expand capabilities providing more advancements to our developers regarding secure transport of data between two points.
We appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns you can reach us on Slack at https://botdoc.io/slack/ or api@botdoc.io
Best regards,
Your Botdoc Team
